Precipitation Sensors

Rain can be measured using different principles. The well-known Observator rain gauges OMC-210/212 use the tipping bucket principle; a simple but effective method which is conform WMO regulations. The Observator rain gauges are often used within water management applications as well as within meteorological stations.
