Cloud Height

Skyview provides a range of world class ceilometers from manufactures such as Eliasson, Vaisala and MTECH Systems providing cloud height measurements and data for aviation and meteorological purposes. Ceilometers are used for the detection of cloud characteristics such as ceiling, layer, vertical visibility and the number of cloud bases. Normally installed as a stand-alone instrument for fixed or mobile applications where accurate and reliable cloud height detection is required.
Laser Ceilometer

8339

Laser Ceilometer

The 8339 Laser Ceilometer measures cloud height and thickness, in addition to vertical visibility, detecting up to four cloud layers simultaneously to a distance of 30,000 vertical feet. Its precision makes it ideal for applications requiring the highest performance and reliability, such as aviation and meteorological studies.

Cloud Ceilometer

CBME80

Cloud Ceilometer

The cloud height ceilometer CBME 80 is a stand-alone instrument designed for fixed and mobile installations where accurate and reliable cloud height information is required.

Single Lens Ceilometer

8200-CHS

Single Lens Ceilometer

The 8200-CHS ceilometer is a high specification single lens cloud sensor that is field proven to operate reliably even in the harshest of environments. Utilizing the latest ceilometer technology this is a device with high levels of accuracy and reliability enabling the accurate detection of cloud and boundary layers.

Ceilometer

CL31

Ceilometer

The Vaisala Ceilometer CL31 is a compact and lightweight instrument for cloud base height and vertical visibility measurements. It is able to detect three could layers simultaneously. The CL31 is ideal for aviation as well as meteorological applications where reliable detection of clouds is essential.

Hi-Range Ceilometer

CL51

Hi-Range Ceilometer

CL51 is designed to measure high range cirrus clouds without surpassing the low and middle layer clouds, or vertical visibility in harsh conditions. Cloud reporting range up to 43,000 ft and backscatter profiling over full measurement range up to 49,200 ft.
